The Challenge

Think of one person in your life with a real problem — your mum, your landlord, the suya man on your street. Someone you actually know. Now build them something. Use any AI tool you like — it doesn't matter if you can code or not, that's the whole point this season. Just build one thing that solves one real problem for one real person. Then show us.

What To Submit

One video. Phone is fine. Under 90 seconds. Show us three things:

1. The person and their problem — who they are, what's been frustrating them.
2. What you built for them.
3. Them actually using it — let the camera catch their real reaction.

Somewhere in your video, say: “TechOff 2026 Everybody Can Build AI Challenge by Bitoshi.”

No editing needed. No production. Just film it and post it.

How To Enter

Post your video publicly on Instagram or TikTok and tag TechOff. Get your people to watch it, comment, and share it around — your neighborhood, your campus, your WhatsApp groups, wherever your people are. The more real engagement your video gets, the more attention it gets from us too.

You must also follow @techoffhack and @bitoshiafrica on both Instagram and TikTok — your application won't count if you don't.

Why It Matters

This isn't about being the best coder in the room. It's about finding a real problem, building something that actually works, and getting someone to care. That's the whole job of a builder, and that's what we're looking for. Everybody can build. Show us who you built for.
